My First Gladiolus As A New Gardener

I planted gladiolus bulbs as soon as the calendar said it’s Spring. Although that was a bit too early for my hydrangeas, somehow someway, the gladiolus are striving. They’re tall and colorful and so easy to take care of.

It feels good to type these words, “from garden to vase.”

Yellow and purple variants are starting to bloom as well. I’m still hoping there are pink blooms that will show up sometime. Hopefully I’ll get that color from the last bulbs that I planted by the back deck. In any event, aren’t these gladiolus so pretty?
