Bacon & Artichoke Fettuccine Alfredo

I love creamy pasta dishes and well, I love bacon and artichokes too so this is definitely another favorite.

Boil water in a pot to cook the fettuccine, al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water before draining.

In a saute pan, brown the bacon pieces. Discard most of the grease. Add the chopped onions and garlic to saute for a couple of minutes. Stir in the artichokes with the marinating juice. Add the alfredo sauce and reserved pasta water. Season with Italian seasoning. Stir in everything together to cook for a few minutes.

Add the noodles. Stir everything to coat the noodles with the sauce.

Serve in a platter. Garnish with something green. Chopped basil would be great but I didn’t have them so I just used the leafy part of celery stalk. Just for aesthetic, really.

Feel free top sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
