Rotini Pasta With Cottage Cheese Sauce

I love cottage cheese by itself, with homemade jam, on top of crackers, and in my 3-cheese Lasagna recipes. Either with Pork Sausage or Beef. Cottage Cheesy pasta sauce is just so creamy and delish! This Rotini Pasta with Cottage Cheese Sauce is so easy to make you’d want to make it over and over again and using different kinds of pasta for sure. Let’s start with Rotini, shall we?

Rotini Pasta With Cottage Cheese Sauce

Equipment

  • 1 box rotini pasta (cooked al dente)water for boiling the pasta1 1/2 pound ground beef1 jar pasta sauce1 1/2 cups cottage cheeseItalian sesoninggarlic powdersalt & pepper2 cups reserved pasta water

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box rotini pasta
  • water for boiling pasta
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 cups reserved pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Boil water to cook the rotini pasta. Reserve 2 cups of the pasta water. Brown ground beef. Discard most of the grease. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Add the pasta sauce and reserved pasta water into the pan. Stir then add the cottage cheese. Stir everything together to incorporate the cottage cheese with the sauce. 
  • Gradually pour the sauce in with the rotini pasta. Stir gently.
