My New Baby, Lady Jane
My plan was to get another bowl for my KitchenAid mixer but while searching for one on Amazon, I was like if I’m going to pay that much for an extra mixing bowl I might as well get a new mixer. It doesn’t necessarily have to be another KitchenAid because I’m not willing to pay for that much, HAH! Besides, the one I have was a gift from Hubby for Mother’s Day a few years ago. I wanted something inexpensive that can get the job done as a 2nd stand mixer. I also wanted something blue. [DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST]
I have been researching this since last year actually. I found one that I like and was just waiting for the right time to spring it on the Hubby 😂. The right time came and I said, I want the royal blue one!
The reviews are awesome on the AUCMA brand. There are 2 things that really convinced to get this brand. First, it is very light. The Kitchen Aid is so powerful that it’s so heavy. It’s like lugging a dead body every time I had to take it out of the pantry before I got a sideboard. Not that I know how heavy dragging a dead body is of course 😅(and yes, I exaggerate). I don’t have much counter space in my kitchen therefore most of appliances like the mixer(used to), blender, rice cookers(1 plus the toaster are in a lower cabinet in the kitchen), etc. are stored in the pantry. I was getting really tired of taking out the KitchenAid particularly then putting it back because it’s freaking heavy hence I bought a kitchen sideboard.
AUCMA stand mixer is really light. There are also 4 silicone cups in the bottom so it wouldn’t move all over the place when in use.
2nd important reason I wanted this one is because it fits in my counter under the cupboards. Another reason the Kitchen Aid mixer stayed in the pantry for a while is because the cupboards in my kitchen were built too low. But check out the Aucma mixer. It looks very much at home right there. 😍😍😍 Oh, the splash cover is definitely a nice thing to have as well.
I haven’t used Lady Jane(yes I named it, my middle name) yet because I only got it this past Friday so I wouldn’t be able to share how it works at this point but a lot of reviews on Amazon indicated good stuff about it. Some details from Amazon;

I am so excited to use Lady Jane and seriously, I love looking at her glossy royal blue color in my counter. 💙💙💙 (PS: I’m only using the mat in the bottom so I can slide the mixer forward easily when I use it. The suction cups don’t work on the mat so I’ll have to take the mat out underneath when in use.)
