All day the local news have been talking about winter storm upon us. Actually, they’ve been talking about it since Wednesday. Today, all bets are off. People are in a panic mode. We went to get groceries today to prepare ourselves too of course coz you never know. My family, having lived in New York for 8 years are not at all thinking that it’s going to be that bad. Chances are, it’ll be like last year where it snowed quite hard for North Carolina’s standards. But that’s nothing to me, Scott and even Caine. It was Emma’s first year of snow. Nevertheless, we’re all kinda excited that we might get snow. So we went to get some groceries and my golly, people are just going nuts. The bread aisle was empty. I mean completely empty. There were barely anything left in the meat department also. You could count the cans of soups left. Vienna sausages were a hit too. And other stuff. Good thing I’m just adding to my pantry and not really panicking like them. To top it all off, on our way home, the liquor store was having major traffic. Hubs was going to stop by to get some stuff for us this weekend but the traffic was ridiculous. Still, that was funny. Snowed In? No problem, get snockered…
Well, a few hours after we got home which was around 7pm, it was chilly and the sky was calm, it’s 9:35 now, and ladies and gentlemen, behold, the snow!!

The kids are going bonkers coz they want to play outside now. Especially Emma. But we told them to wait until tomorrow when there’s more snow on the ground. I’m actually excited too. So excited that my husband stealthily put a snowball on my back while I was putting watermarks on the pictures. I’m wearing a dress so the snowball traveled all the way down to my butt. That was freaking cold…
A couple more pictures…
