At the beginning of the week last week, we told C, maybe we’ll take him to Mcdonald’s for lunch on Saturday and he could play in the play area if he’s good all week at school. Ok, let me explain first why it seems going to McDonald’s is a treat. Well it’s kinda, sorta, but not really. LOL. We just try not to go to there too much. Why? Well, because it’s not healthy eating at fastfood restaurants all the time. It amazes me how people whine and complain about how huge their ass is, yet they’re in the freaking drive-thru ordering super size meals at least 4 times a week. Plus, we happen to love eating the dishes I lovingly cook at our own dining table. Families should always eat together at the dining table, with minor exceptions of course. So there you go.

As to why we had to make a deal with him is because he’s been losing focus on his school work lately. He needed to be made aware of his own responsiblity when it comes to him doing great in school. Yah know, the joy of parenthood. So anyway, we can all deduce that he did great last week so on Friday night he suggested getting our lunch from McDonald’s then eat them under the tree in our front yard and have a “McDonald’s Picnic”. He loved the one we had last time but Dad wasn’t with us so he wanted to have one with all of us.

On our way home from the PX and Commissary for a litlte bit of shopping and groceries, we stopped at McDonald’s for our meals and took ‘em all home. It drizzled for a bit but once we got home the sun cooperated and gave us it’s shining smile once again. Without further adieu, here are the pictures. Click to see more.
