PHOTO HUNT 006 : ART
The theme for this week is ART. My family consists of artists’, except MOI. BabyE is probably going to be one too, just give her a couple more years and she’ll be just like her Daddy, Kuya(big brother), and Uncle D(my brother). Here’s a showcase of their talents.
My son did this POPEYE drawing last year in the laptop using Photoshop. He drew this using just the lines.
And this is the printed, cut out, and colored version of POPEYE that he pinned in his bedroom door. He did all that by himself.
He hasn’t seen the movie yet, but he drew Spider-Man and his alter-ego during his free time at school. He is very into details, you noticed?
This DEAN electric guitar used to sport a graphic-less mahogany body finish but my dear husband got bored one day and decided to inflict his artistic abilities on it. It took him a week to do the priming, spray brushing, and whatever else he did to painstakingly make it look as good as it is now. I love the blue thunder/lightning graphic finish. I’d like to believe he used blue coz it’s my favorite color. I always take credit for everything….LOL

How about MY artistic abilities? Well, just look at the header above. I made those myself using the Photoshop. My artistry comes out when I’m using a Photoshop. Other than that, I’m much better with cooking, dancing, shopping and coming up with stylish outfits, heh. I do believe that’s an art in itself

Very nice, love your son’s taste in subjects. Popeye was one of my favorites while growing up.
It doesn’t seem quite fair that everyone else gets to have artistic talent when it comes to drawing and you don’t.. though you probably have more than you give yourself credit for. I have a cousin who is a great artist… not me!

SRP, it’s true, I can’t draw to save my life. Stick figures maybe but that’s about it. I’ve accepted it..LOL. I’m much better navigating the photoshop with the mouse.
Art truly does come in many forms… cooking is not one of my better art forms, haha. One day I will get and learn Photoshop. You’ve done a great job here.
