Before moving to North Carolina, we lived in Upstate NY for almost 8 years. That’s 8 years worth of snow during winter. We’ve lived here in NC for 3 years and today is the first time we actually have snow. If I remember it right, we had a little bit on our first year here but it didn’t stick. Every winter season since we’ve moved here I wished for an inch or a couple inches of snow. I don’t want a blizzard, I just want enough to cover the ground, make snow balls and play with outside with my children. My wish came true like my husband said this morning. Because HOLY Crap, We’ve got Snow!
It is the baby’s first time to see snow. Her brother grew up with snow which is one of the reasons why I’ve been wishing for snow. I wanted her to experience it also. Even for just a little bit. And she has.She enjoyed every minute of it. She enjoyed it so much she didn’t want to go back inside. Her brother said, "this is the best day of the week". It sure is. But it’s not just because we have snow outside and it looks like we’re going to wake up to more snow tomorrow, but because today is the Inauguration Day.
Today is definitely the best day of the week, EVAH!
