Ooooh My Abs Hurt…
And I like it. But if you asked me yesterday how I felt about my 3rd Insanity Fit Test which is done every 2 weeks, I’d tell you that it was rough. It was even worse than the first time. See, I got sick by Friday last week after my husband got sick. He said I should just rest and skip the exercise which got no argument from me coz I was pretty weak anyway. I figured I’d just workout on the weekends but that didn’t happen either. I was pretty helpless. Thank God the hubby was off on Saturday. He had to work on Sunday but at least I was feeling ok. Still though, I decided to just rest it out and forget the Cardio Abs workout from the Insanity program then jump into the scheduled Fit Test this Monday. Like I said, that was a rough Fit Test. I managed but barely made it. I fought so hard to do 2 or 3 more from my previous Fit Test results.
I really love this Insanity Program because there is a system that you have to follow. I don’t have to worry about designing a workout schedule coz Insanity pretty much did it for me. It’s pretty basic, the system, not the workout, heh. You do the Fit Test first, then the following:
- Plyometric Cardio Circuit – 2nd day
- Cardio Power & Resistance –3rd day
- Cardio Recovery – 4th day
- Pure Cardio & Abs – 5th day
- Cardio Abs – 6th day
You have to do this for a whole month. The Fit Test every 2 weeks to monitor your progress. Check out the video below to get an idea of what an Insanity Fit Test is.
After a month, you jump into the second part of this program which is the hardcore part that’s why there is the Core Cardio & Balance workout that you should do for 1 week before doing the 2nd month set which is the Max Interval set.
- Max Interval Circuit
- Max Interval Plyo
- Max Interval Cardio Conditioning Abs
- Max Recovery
Today is my 1st day of Core Cardio & Balance and like my title said, my abs hurt but I LOVE it. That means this workout is working really well. I’m definitely looking forward to Women’s Summer Fashion this year. And that includes the swimwear and more skinny jeans
