It’s Lucky 13 For Us
Yup, my husband and I have turned 13 yrs old together. To quote the card that he gave me:
When we began our life together
I didn’t realize how much I still had to learn
About love and marriage
They don’t teach it in school.
In Fact,
I don’t think it can be taught
It can only be learned over time
With someone you really love
Someone who’s willing
To learn it together
Sometimes it’s been easy and effortless with long stretches
Of happiness and Contentment
Other times, we’ve had our struggles, but through it all
We both Knew that this is the most important thing we’d ever do..
And there’s no one else I’d rather do it all with
Than You.
Those words are what marriage is all about. Most of the times it’s wonderful, but sometimes it’s not. And when it’s not, you work through it and never give up. As long as there’s love, trust, respect, laughter, friendship, good food on the table, and AMAZING sex, all is well, ‘till death do us part.
He had to work today so we couldn’t celebrate properly but I made sure we at least have fine dining at home with herb-roasted chicken, asparagus, and herb-roasted potatoes, with coconut macaroons for dessert. We’ll celebrate more this weekend coz he’s off on both days. Woohooo!!
PS: In my card, I got a $5 bill.
I guess it’s time for me to work that off, huh?

Aww! That is so sweet. Marriage is not always peaches and cream. LOL. Happy Anniversary again to you guys! May you have many more blissful and happy years together! Cheers!!!
Thanks Kri
