Red For Summer
I finally had time to dye my hair last week. I’ve had the 3 boxes of Revlon Colorsilk Light Auburn 53 sitting in the bathroom cabinet for months now. I was just waiting for my hair to grow longer. 3 boxes of hair color plus about an hour of soaking, my hair turned red
. It should have been just 30 minutes but I was trying to get something published so my hair got treated longer that it should be.
After rinsing then seeing my bangs in the mirror I thought it came out lighter than I expected. Good thing I have a fair complexion or this would totally look kinda weird on me since I’m Asian after all. But then again, people confuse me to be Mexican all the time
.
A bottle of Revlon Colorsilk is $3.69 so I only spent $11.07 + taxes. If I went to my hair dresser to get this down it would be more than $12 and I’d probably have to bust out my credit card to pay for it. And I might have been tempted to get a haircut too which I really don’t want to right now coz I plan on having bangs and long hair style this year. I waited patiently to get back my long hair. I’ve been trimming the bangs myself too. I’m saving a lot of money this way. So I’m red for the summer and the annoying white hairs caused by stress are all gone. Woohooo.

Ooh it looks fab, hot mama!
