Our Easter Sunday 2012
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We had a great one in the family. We got up at 7am so we’d make it on time for the 9:30am Church service. It was one of the few times we were actually early for Church. I mean early like we stayed in the car at the parking lot too early. We weren’t rushing like we used to, haha. Progress baby, progress.
After Church, we went home then the kids got their Easter baskets. After a few minutes I gathered everyone outside for Easter Sunday pictures to send my mother-in-law. Since we were all in our Sunday’s best, I told everyone to take a few seconds to smile for Nanny. Then after that, I got the pot roast set up in the crock-pot for our Easter dinner while Daddy scattered the eggs around the yard. I kinda went overboard with the eggs that he almost ran out of place to hide them. Then we went out to hunt the eggs. By God’s graces, we were able to find all the eggs. Then we all got chocolate-coma. Those Cadbury eggs are soooo good. I love those. We also ate some of the dyed boiled eggs that Emma and I made on Saturday night. I can’t remember anything else after that coz I fell asleep in the couch. I woke up just in time for dinner.
17th Day: A book you’ve read that changed your views on something
Day 17 of 30 Days of Truth and Blessings: A book you’ve read that changed your views on something.
It would definitely be The Purpose Driven Life: What Am I Here For? by Rick Warren. This book came to me and my husband 4 yrs ago. A time when our marriage and family life were in trouble. Without having to delve onto all the details, let’s just say that my husband and I found our purpose after a tumultuous year. We found our way back home. In our journey back to home, The Purpose Driven Life accompanied us through it.
We have a His and Hers copies of this book. We’ve read it before we went to bed. It was an enlightening experience for both of us which helped tremendously in building our relationship with God, ourselves as husband and wife, as individuals living in this earth, and the best parents we could possibly be to our children.
A lot has changed since that day 4 years ago when I thought everything would come crashing down on me and everything I believed in and stood for. This book has definitely changed not only our views on something, but A LOT of things.
A View From The Back
Green grass, and a lot of trees are lined up in the back which serve as a peaceful and almost zen-live view from the back. A picturesque setting that I appreciate very much.
Photohunt 014 : Old-Fashioned

Photohunt theme today is Old-Fashioned. That’s me and my brother after Church. I was 4 yrs. old and he was 2. You could see the Church behind us. And if you look closely, a huge tree house which we always visited after Church and before heading off to our favorite restaurant for Sunday’s lunch. Ah memories. I was rocking the bob hairstyle before Suri Cruise, Kate Holmes and Victoria Posh started rocking it
. My blue dress with that wide white collar. Even then I preferred tights over leggings
. Look at me with my T-strap black mary janes. I was rocking my own shoulder bag too. My brother was wearing his own blue shirt and shorts outfit to match my blue
.
My mother trained and cultivated my fashion sense. Fast forward to now, I blog for 3 fashion sites… LOL. Mother knows best

Our Christmas 2007 Round-Up

I have a bit of time to write about our Christmas. More pictures will be uploaded in flickr sometime. I’m still trying to catch up with work so I apologize if this is short and succint.
Merry Christmas From Our Family To Yours

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and A Prosperous New Year. Hope you all have a wonderful time with your family and friends.
Sorry For My Sporadic Presence…
I feel I must apologize to everyone who comes and visit here everyday. I’m not really on hiatus. Far from it. I’m everywhere online but evidently, not in my own space in the web. *Sigh*. I don’t mean to just pop in once a week. Like in time for the Photo Hunts. But you know, after working all day, I just kinda settle down for the night, try to finish off some chores(my poor laundry is neglected a lot), and spend time with the family. I try to visit the people on my blogroll list at least twice a week. I swear I do. People who leaves comments as well. I try to comment on some, others are in blogspot website(mostly Photo Hunters) and for some reason I keep getting errors on those blogs. So I don’t have a choice but to leave without saying anything. Kinda rude but after clicking the comment box a few times and it’s giving me problems, I get really frustrated
. So I apologize for that too. Ayayay.
I’ve been tagged with a lot of Memes and Award Badges and all that jazz. I’ll get to them sometime. I Promise. And Thank You for giving me the awards
