Christmas Pictures, Day 2
Yesterday was supposed to be the kids “pictorial” day for our Christmas card this year,. I’ve had everything set up. The Christmas Tree as the background, and they were both all dressed up. However, I was only able to take pictures of Caine. I have a lot of solo pictures of him. Emma Lyn on the hand, NADA.
Today is a different scenario though, well slightly. Emma is wearing her outfit again and I was able to take solo picture a a few hours ago. But I still can’t get the shot I want. Aaahhhh. What is it that I want anyway? I dunno, Haha.
So we’re here, waiting for Caine to get home from school so maybe, my God please help me, I’ll be able to take a picture of them together. I’m pretty sure after taking 100 shots, I’ll have 2-3 good ones that I could possibly use for our Christmas card. No wonder professional photography is expensive, Haha!
Here’s Emma doing the robot dance.. LOL. She’s cute
The Town’s Christmas Parade
I can’t believe we actually woke up early so we could watch the town’s Christmas parade this morning. I woke up first which to tell you the truth would never have happened if I didn’t have to go to the bathroom so badly, HAHA! I could have gone back to bed but I figured I might as well stay up and watch the parade with the family. Scott woke up shortly after, we both checked online a bit, he and Caine ate breakfast, Emma Lyn and I didn’t coz were not breakfast people, then got ready and we were off just in the nick of time. It was difficult to find a parking spot but Scott found one eventually then looked for the right spot in the town circle. We moved twice for better viewing before the parade started. Lots of fire trucks which Emma loves, many candies were given away that Emma said it was Halloween, clowns, school bands, Princesses, business floats, mini-nascar. classic cars, Chargers(car), and many more. I took so many pictures of course.
What To Do This Weekend?
My husband said we should do something this weekend. Besides shopping for Christmas gifts, I really can’t think of anything to do with the kids this early in the month that’s related to Christmas. I thought about checking out Christmas lights but it’s still too early around our area for lights. There’s a parade in the little plaza right where we live on Saturday morning but that would only last for an hour or probably less than that. I could check out caribbean all inclusive packages but we need something to do this weekend and I’m not prepared for a Caribbean trip right now, haha.
I’ll check out local websites and check out what they’ve got going . Hopefully I’ll find something and the kids will have fun. I have a feeling we’ll end up at Chuck E Cheese.
Picture, Picture On Thanksgiving Day
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! How much did you eat?
Rake The Leaves
She started to rake the leaves yesterday and she loved it. She thought she was too cool for words.
Halloween 2011
For now, this is the Halloween picture for 2011. Funny how I was wondering if my son should wear a costume this year weeks ago. Obviously we buckled down and said sure why not. Emma Lyn was supposed to be Minnie Mouse but she didn’t want to wear her costume AT ALL. It was stressful trying to convince her to put her costume on. It was already raining when I took this picture and it poured hard by the time we got our first trick-or-treaters. Those kids didn’t mind though. They were soaked wearing coats over their costume but hey, Halloween is Halloween. Scott took the kids out and I stayed home to give out the candies. Emma just stayed in the car since she wasn’t wearing her costume anyway. She didn’t care at all. She just wanted the candies, I guess.
I had a cool idea of a picture of her with the SCREAM costume behind her but that didn’t happen yesterday. My son said we could do it today hoping of course that his sister would cooperate this time around. Wish me luck.
