There are spring flowers located in the front and back of the house. My husband took these pictures using the Nikon D40 with 55-200mm Lens. He’s a much better “photographer” than I am. Obviously.

I’ve been fighting with stuffy nose in the past few days which I thought was another round of colds and nasal congestion. But after assessing how my body feels, I realized I’m not sick. My allergies are just kicking in. The weather has been so nice so I’ve been staying outside with the kids. And yesterday, the 4 of us went for a really nice walk. There’s a lot of Briar Pear Trees around here, 2 of them are actually in front of our house. My nose is miserable. It’s itchy and it’s hard to breathe as well. So much for having a nice weather, no?

It’s the last week of January 2011 and I’m just posting my birthday flower pictures. Well, that happens when you pretty much start the first month of the new year with a cycle of cold and flu in the family. So pardon the lateness.

This BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY flew around the backyard on my daughter’s 4th birthday so I quickly grabbed by camera, ran to the yard, barefoot, then took pictures. It flew away after letting me take a few shots. I waited for it to come back but it never did. I didn’t see it yesterday either. Today?? we’ll see…. Mama shows up when she wants to :D .

When we had our Yard Sale 2 weekends ago, our first customer were an old couple who saw an emerging plant in the front yard. She asked me what colors the flowers are. I said I didn’t know coz I haven’t seen them since it was almost Fall when we moved to this new place last year. She informed me that she has the same plant in her house and it produces this cream buds which turn into lilac then ends up into blue colors. It got me really excited so I have been waiting for what they’d look like. Click on the picture above to see the beautiful blue hydrangea flowers in my front yard. I wanted to pick some to put in a vase for my dining table but Hubs said to leave the flowers to be beautiful outside. Bummer.

I took so many pictures even though they haven’t completely blossomed yet. I might do some catalog printing with these early pictures plus the ones I’m going to take after a week. They’ll be soo blue by then. Blue happens to be my favorite color. :)
