Darn Mosquitoes
It is summer and it’s so nice to stay outside and play around in the yard or walk or just sit in the pork to read books while sipping a nice glass of cold drink. This sounds so magical but then it has been raining a lot lately so the mosquitoes love to come out and play afterwards. And they love to feast on me. Even though it’s too hot to wear jeans, I have to or else my legs would be tattered with bug bites. I’m tempted to go to ShanMedical.com for compression stockings and buy a pair of these cute sheer-thigh lacy stockings. I can wear shorts with them and my legs would still be protected. Take that mosquitoes. How do you like that lace trim? Sexy huh?
Competitiveness In A Marriage
Since I started playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook, I’ve gotten so much better from my starter score of 89K. I’ve reached the 100K+ mark quite a few times. That means I’ve beaten my husband’s score quite a few times. But I’ve noticed that 2 days after I beat his score, unintentionally, *cough*, he beats my score too.
It happened again yesterday. I reached my highest score so far of 148,400 a couple of nights ago so I was celebrating. The next thing I hear is the sound of Bejeweled Blitz game from the bedroom. So I asked if he was trying to beat my score. He replied with; “No, why would I do such a thing?“. And a few minutes after that I heard him say, ‘almost.”
While I was playing last night before heading to bed, he came up to me to rub his score in.
S: Oh look at that, ha…
D: Whatever, you’re so competitive
S: I wasn’t trying to beat your score.. it just happened.
D: Uh huh..
Sure. It just happened that I’m very competitive myself to beat his score again. But I’m so frustrated that it’s taking so long so while I’m looking at these pave beads coz I’ve been wanting to start making necklaces and bracelets for myself, daughter, and friends, it just happened that I might have purchased them with his card
.
It looks like our son is trying to join in in the competition too. This competitiveness is a family affair, and knowing our son, we’d be looking up to see his name in the standing. FIGURES!

March 9th Photo-A-Day Challenge: RED
What’s sexier than a pair of red heels? This is definitely one of my favorite pair of shoes. It hurts after a couple of hours for sure but as any women who loves to wear high heels know, it’s all worth it. Or something like that, HAH!

Blue Leather Jewelry Box
My current jewelry box is a a musical box that my husband got me from Korea. As much as I love it, I think I need a bigger box. I also want something with more than one compartment. The music box only6 has one on top for the rings and a few stud earrings. The bottom part is so unorganized because of all the necklaces, and bracelets shoved inside. And because of that, I never get to display the ballet dancer that’s supposed to dance with the music.
I would like to buy a new jewelry box that could accommodate all my jewelry and organize it nicely as well. I found this leather jewelry boxes online and I like them. Especially the blue one coz it’s my favorite color and it reminds me of Tiffany’s. The one I like is $249.95 though. I’m sure the fact that it’s leather has a lot to do with that. Those little compartments sure makes it worth it too. It’s probably big for what I have now though but I’m sure I’ll be able to fill it up throughout the years. Right Hubs?
3rd Week Of January
I can’t believe it’s the 3rd week of January. So what have you guys accomplished this first month of 2012? Have you given up on your New Year’s resolution? Did you know that the 2nd week of January is supposedly the time when most people give up on their resolutions? I was a little miffed at that “statistics” last week coz I kinda did gave up on mine for 3 days. but that’s only because I had tooth extraction and my husband suggested I should probably take it easy with my workout. My Dentist didn’t mention anything though but then again I never asked. All he said was my mouth will be tender for a couple of days but I should be fine. And I was fine. Shoot, my face was numb for hours. It was awesome.
Anyhooo, accomplishments for this month? Well, nothing biggie besides getting that tooth out that has bugged me for 8 years, really. I was so afraid of Dentists that I endured the pain that would come in 1 week every month. But that’s done and over with. My husband and I high-five each other on our drive home then I posted in Facebook and Twitter that I ♥ my Dentist, Haha. I’ve also finally decided to organize my stuff for going back to school. It’ll be an online program so everything is cool. I got my hair cut. It’s layered and shorter. I wanted to go shorter actually but I chickened out in the end and kept it a little bit longer than shoulder length. Hmm, what else? I learned what Ordinateurs are. Does that count?
Well, that’s about it for now. Oh wait, I finished the 3 seasons of united States of Tara today thanks to Netflix which I started last Friday. Yup, I lead a weird and boring life. How’s Yours?
My 2012 Shoes Calendar
Everyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE SHOES. My dear mother-in-law is one of those people. She definitely made my Christmas really cool thanks to the shoes calendar that she gave me as a Christmas gift. It’s literally a page-a-day gallery of shoes. 1 shoes/per day.
The shoes featured varied from the ones I’d definitely wear, to the artistically designed couture shoes that would look so great in a closet to show off to at museums or display cabinets at home.
The calendar is supposed to be for my office desk but since the desk is already filled with my paraphernalia, I decided to put it in the end table right next to the couch. The end table that holds the laptop which is technically my husband’s end table since he’s the one who always sits on the side of the couch that’s near it. Now he can look at women’s shoes everyday in calendar form as well. Haha!
You can have the same shoes calendar by purchasing it at Workman for $15.99.
ForeverLazy Anyone?
First there was Snuggie, which in all logic and purposes, is actually cool. Who wouldn’t want to be wrapped around all warm and snug by a soft large blanket, right? But what about ForeverLazy? It’s like a jumbo version of a onesie pajamas.
I suppose it’s something nice and cozy to wear at home when lounging around, reading a book, playing board games or video games, or watching TV. I don’t know about tailgating, or going outdoors with it on though. That’s just definitely plain lazy. Well, I guess the name ForeverLazy is quite apropos.
