• Laundry done! And when I say done, I mean the whole nine yards. Washed, dried, folded and put away. Yay Me!
• Kitchen is clean and organized. Remnants of Thanksgiving mess are gone.
• Legos from the daughter’s room have been put in buckets. The floor is actually clear, and her tea table is organize. I’m praying it would stay that way until tomorrow.
• Toy Story 3 makes me cry no matter how many times I’ve seen it.
• Free weekend of Starz and Encore channels is dedicated to Wesley Snipes movies. I’ve watched The Fan, Blade II, and Passenger 57 in the past 3 days.
• Hubby and I are working our way through the series of No Ordinary Family.
• My children are bugging me about Christmas decorations.
• I will take my Christmas decorations out tomorrow.
• There’s going to be a lot of moving furniture, books, dusting and sweeping in between while decorating my house for Christmas.
• I am secretly hoping that Hubby puts the Christmas lights outside but with work and school, he might not have the patience to do it. Plus, we’re spending Christmas in New York so….
• YES, we’re going to New York for Christmas. I am sooooo excited. We’re going to look around for houses while we’re there just to get an idea.
• And for vanity’s sake, I took a picture of myself on Thanksgiving Day coz I curled my hair, Haha!

When my husband got home from school last night he said we were drinking wine. I was like OK, we’ll drink some wine. Then I went on to explain that there’s already a bottle of Chardonnay that’s chilling in the fridge because I unplugged the wine cooler even though I just filled it up with more bottles including the HUGE bottle that he found on sale a few days ago coz he was right that plugging it in all the time will just spike up our electric bill. Breathe! He said to put another one in the fridge to chill so we’ll have two bottles to consume. The already chilled bottle was Chardonnay and the extra bottles I have in the wine cooler are Merlot except the HUGE bottle that he bought. He didn’t want to mix red and white so he said to chill the HUGE Chardonnay instead. I was hesitant coz I was actually saving that for Thanksgiving Day. He was able to convince me to forget that plan.

Red wine with Turkey?

So we were in our room, drinking wine, while watching MTV’s Beavis and Butt-Head. I started getting a buzz after 2 glasses. Yeah, that fast. then I started playing with his cellphone, then we took a picture of us. And that’s what you see right there. My “no makeup” face was already red which matches my red hair, and my eyes showed I was buzzing all over, Haha!

Speaking of red, that Shaun White gum commercial came on and I made a comment of how Shaun’s hair in the packet is red but he’s brunette in the commercial. My husband looked at me and said, “your hair is red but you’re actually brunette". I looked at him, tried to think of a clever comeback but couldn’t. Then he laughed……..

It’s only 7:25pm on a Friday night. I’m waiting for 8pm and have another glass. How about you?

While working on a fashion post yesterday, I scrolled upon this picture of me from a couple of years ago while saving a picture in a folder. I remembered how I loved this particular outfit that day. Floral smocked top cinched with a wide red patent belt, worn over jeans, with my long beaded cross necklace. I thought I was very stylish. So I decided to post it as my Facebook profile. In the back of my mind, someone is going to say I’m fat. If not to my face, at least talk about me with other people I know. Paranoid much? Nahhh, just keepin’ it real.

When the guys went fishing after dinner, then my daughter fell asleep at about 8:30pm, I planted my behind in the couch, turned the laptop on and opened Facebook. I figured I’d chat it up with a few friends in there. Lo and behold, one friend sent me a message saying in Tagalog:

I’ve been using my husband’s Gatorade water bottle for months now and it works fine. I have no complains about it. But I’ve always wanted a stainless steel water bottle coz I’ve read a lot of good things about it most especially the environmental benefits. Yah know, I try to be eco-friendly when I could.

I found this Outdoor Products Stainless Steel Sports Bottle at Wal-Mart for $5. Pretty cheap, huh? It comes in different colors but because I love blue, I picked this one. I figured the pink ribbon in the blue bottle looks better than any other colors.

Oh yeah the pink ribbon. Not only am I being eco-friendly with this water bottle, I also donated 10% of the sale to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. As much as I could, I support that cause as well.

I used this today while doing my TurboFire 60 workout. I think this stainless steel water bottle and I are going to be bestfriends from now on.

One thing I don’t want to worry about right now is social security disability insurance so I am so glad that Stretching, Sculpting, and Toning are part of the Turbo Fire program. I love the days when I have to stretch for like 10 minutes, or sculpt for 30 minutes, and sometimes tone for 40 minutes which is more like yoga/pilates. With all the cardio I’m doing, I need the aforementioned to ease my joints to save my knees and bones. The last thing I need is hurting myself because of all the cardio exercises I’m doing. Plus those stationary exercises feels really good too.

The Turbo Fire program lets you workout on the weekends and believe it or not, I love it. I love dancing and sweating my buns off. That stretched out, loose, and wet tee is courtesy of Turbo Fire 45 class. You don’t want to see my sports bra and shorts. Turbo Fire 45 EZ is different from TF 45 but they both make me sweat a lot. Well, all TF classes leave me breathless and sweaty after each exercise. It is just so much fun. Just check out YouTube for TF videos and I’m confident that you’ll get the motivation that you’ve been looking for.

Maybe I’ll host a party this Christmas and send Holiday Party Invitations with a picture of me looking all different. It’s not going to be a holiday party but more of a check out the new Me party. That would be totally vain and fun at the same time, HA!

Technically, I’m not on a very strict diet where I have to cut practically everything out. I don’t think that will ever happen in my life. I just love food too much. But I’m also aware that I can’t continue eating as much as I have been for years. I’m not talking about shoving food in my mouth from the time I wake up to the time I hit the bed at 1am. I don’t do that of course. My diet is pretty much just moderation or portion control. I could read sensa weight loss reviews all day and decide whether I believe it or not but it’s still up to me how much I eat each meal. Instead of 1 pork chop, I cut that in half. Any kind of meat entrée, I cut in half. Rice, 1 cup. No seconds or thirds. And I go for salads for lunch. I go for fresh fruits smoothies or non-fat yogurt for snacks. And I try not to eat too much of my homemade cookies, cupcakes, or whatever sweets I bake. Again, portion control.

For almost 2 months now, with exercise and moderation diet, I’ve lost 9 pounds with better stamina, muscles, energy and toned body.

Except for this week, I’ve actually been working out 7 days a week. Turbo Fire program only has 1 day rest which is on Wednesdays but I’m not resting that day coz I still have the Insanity program to do so overall, I workout everyday. But like I said, not this week coz I’m doing the Turbo Fire Inferno. That’s 1 week rest from Insanity, and only 5 days of Turbo Fire.

Nevertheless, as I’ve been noticing for the past weeks, my face has cleared up. Even when I had my last period earlier this month. I didn’t get that much pimples at all. May a couple but not as bad as I’ve gotten pretty much for the rest of my life. I’m proud to say that I won’t be needing any epiduo or other acne treatments anymore. I just have to continue working out everyday.
