Crock-pot Chile-Ginger BBQ Country Style Pork Ribs

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 pounds pounds country style pork ribs
  • 2 tbsp chiles
  • 1 sm onion chopped
  • thumb size fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and crushed
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup water
  • sprinkle of black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Except for the pork ribs, combine everything in a bowl. Spoon some into the crock-pot.
  • Arrange the pork ribs into the crock-pot and pour the rest of the chile-bbq sauce on top. Cover then set the crockpot to LOW if you’re cooking at about 10 or 11am, on HIGH if later than that.
