Peach Crumble

Ingredients
  

FILLING

  • juice of quarter of fresh lemon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour

CRUMBLE TOPPING

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream (optional but recommended)

Instructions
 

  • Place the cut peaches in a bowl. Squeeze the lemon over the peaches. Toss in sugar and flour. Mix the whole thing to coat evenly. Let that sit for 10 to 15 minutes or so.
  • In the mixer use the paddle attachment to make the crumble topping. Cut the butter into small pieces. Put them in the mixer bowl with flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon powder. Mix that until the whole thing turns into a brown coarse crumble.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°. Transfer the peaches mixture into a pie dish. Evenly distribute the crumble on top. Put the pie dish into a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil. This will catch any juices from the pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
