The 6 films joining the original 4 films for 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival have been announed and they are: Mallari starring Piolo Pascual directed by Derick Cabrido, FIREFLY starring Alessandra de Rossi directed by Zig Dulay, Broken Hearts’s Trip starring Christian Bables directed by Lemuel Lorca, When I Met You In Tokyo starring Christoper de Leon & Vilma Santos direted by Rado Peru, Becky and Badette starring Eugene Domingo and Pokwang directed by Jun Lana, and GOMBURZA starring Enchong Dee, Dante Rivero, and Cerick Juan directed by Pepe Diokno.

The first four films that were announced back in July are; “Family Of Two(orig- “A Mother And Son’s Story”)” with Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards under Cineko Productions, “K(ampon)” with Beauty Gonzalez and Derek Ramsay under Quantum Films, “PENDUKO” with Matteo Guidicelli and Cristine Reyes under Viva Films, and “REWIND” with Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera under Star Cinema, Agosto Dos, and APT Films.
