Gotta prepare and explain whatβs ahead in a situation/event, for what might arise, etc and then go through the anticipation, excitement, & endless βis it *that time* yet π¬π .
THEN, if it gets cancelled due to weather or some unforeseen reasons, thatβs the hard part. So sometimes you get stuck between should we tell her/him and be prepared or should we not just in case something happens and it’s cancelled or postponed? We’ve done all and along the way when we tell her ahead of time we also prepare her for when it doesn’t happen. We kind ajust learned as years go by. Basically, just prepare for everything possible and help your child understand as much as she/he could.
