Blueberry And Strawberry Waffles
Equipment
- 1 waffle maker
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Oil Spray
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries chopped
- 3-4 pcs large strawberries chopped
- butter
- Maple(orPancake) syrup
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture, whisking as you go. Keep stirring until well-incorporated. The batter would be slightly thick. Divide the batter in half by pouring a half into another bowl. Add chopped blueberries in one bowl, then the chopped strawberries in the other bowl. OR, just stick with one fruit.
- Preheat the waffle maker according to the manual. Spray the waffle plates with Pam spray. Fill up the cup the came with the waffle maker. A light indicator should tell you if it’s ready to pour.
- At this point, follow the instructions of your waffle maker to cook the waffles. My waffle maker rotates so it had to be rotated after closing the top surface. It steams while cooking then the light indicator shows when it's ready to take out. Spray the waffle maker with Pam before batter as you make each waffle.
