Netizens Strongly React To Barbie Forteza’s Interpretation Of Their Criticisms Regarding The Fake Kiss W/ David Licauco In “Pulang Araw”

This is a long post with plenty of screenshots so bear with me, HAH! So, the crux of it all is, Barbie Forteza received comments after BarDa and/or “Pulang Araw” fans were not satisfied with the fake kissing scene between her and David Licauco for their characters, Adelina and Hiroshi, in GMA Network’s historical action-drama series.

Barbie felt slighted that viewers think she’s not a good actress for the lack of proper kissing scene which prompted her to ask if that’s the basis of being good at acting. (Interview with Nelson Canlas)

And then, one of the producers of the show(who has worked with Barbie countless times) defended their decision on the matter wherein she states Barbie has a boyfrend and as someone who works in production they will do everything to protect their actors on the set. Furthermore, she added that they can produce quality shots even if they fake the kissing scenes in order to make their actor feel comfortable so she could do her best for the scene. Well, THAT did not sit well with the viewers 🙁😅 and they let that producer, as well as Barbie, know what they really think about it. READ ON!
