Bacon & Feta Cheese Burger

Along with the Black and Bleu Burger that my husband made this past Saturday, he also made Bacon & Feta Cheese Burger. We got a good deal from Food Lion on the Crumbled Blue Cheese and Feta Cheese. 2 for $5 so we got both and Hubs made 2 kinds of burgers. I love it when he makes burgers for dinner coz he’s soooo good at making patties. Perfectly round shaped patties that are thick and juicy. I suck at making patties so he does all that and I watch then eat with gusto afterwards.

Bacon & Feta Cheese Burger

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • sprinkle of dried oregano
  • sprinkle of dried basil
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • generous sprinkling of McCormick Perfect Pinch Vegetable seasoning
  • Crumbled feta cheese
  • 3-4 strips cooked bacon
  • burger buns
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  • Combine the ground beef, dried oregano, egg, dried basil, Worcestershire sauce and salt together. Mix ‘em all up and shape the patties. 4-5 thick burger patties.
  • Cook the patties on an electric griddle or grill. Cook one side. Halfway through cooking, sprinkle McCormick Perfect Pinch Vegetable seasoning on top of the patties. Continue to cook according to how you like your patties. Then flip to cook the other side. Sprinkle more McCormick Perfect Pinch Vegetable seasoning on top.
  • Brush melted butter on the inside of the buns. Slightly toast them in the griddle.

Assemble the burgers while the patties are warm. Lower bun, patty, bacon strips, crumbled feta cheese, then the top bun. Sliced tomatoes and lettuce are optional. Serve with broccoli coleslaw on the side.
