Rhian Ramos And Ashley Ortega Are Part Of The Cast Of Historical Drama “Pulang Araw”
2 more stars have been revealed to be part of GMA Network’s upcoming historical drama “Pulang Araw” which is headlined by Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco. Kapuso actresses Rhian Ramos and Ashley Ortega have joined the cast. Dennis Trillo who will play a villain role was announced last month to be part of it as well.

In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the Kapuso actress shared her recent experiences on the set of the upcoming series.
“Ibang-iba talaga. ‘Pag nandu’n ako sa ‘Pulang Araw,’ paulit-ulit ko talagang nire-rehearse ‘yung mga lines ko para makuha ko ‘yung tono nang tama,” Rhian said.
“And also, may mga requirements sila na iba’t ibang skills pa from me. I need to be able to dance, I need to be able to sing aside from du’n sa acting,” she said.

Ashley Ortega beams with pride for groundbreaking primetime series ‘Pulang Araw’
Ashley Ortega talks about the much-awaited historical drama titled Pulang Araw,’ featuring some of the biggest and brightest names in show business today.
Ashley Ortega is set to give another riveting performance in the highly-anticipated GMA Prime series titled Pulang Araw.
According to Ashley, Pulang Araw is a great opportunity for Filipinos to learn more about their history.
“I’m really excited kasi talaga ‘yung Pulang Araw e pinag-isipan talaga ng production. There’s so many things na matutunan , especially mga Pinoy. Kasi, the story is about history,” Ashley told GMANetwork.com in an interview during the DITO Telecommunity event held earlier, April 11, at the One Bonifacio Highstreet Mall in Taguig City.
However, Ashley refused to give more details about the series because, she said, “Mahirap magsalita, kasi baka maspoil.”
In the said series, Ashley will join Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco, Sanya Lopez, and Asia’s Multimedia star Alden Richards.
