Jeric Raval Confirms Daughter Aj Raval & Aljur Abrenica Have Two Children

The headline this past weekend said; Jeric Raval confirms that his daughter Aj Raval and partner Aljur Abrenica have two children.

Jeric Raval has confirmed what his daughter AJ Raval and her partner Aljur Abrenica had repeatedly denied — that he is already a grandfather of two, courtesy of them.

Raval made the revelation during a press interview at the victory party of “Mamay: A Journey to Greatness” on Saturday, August 23, in Quezon City. The film earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 73rd FAMAS held a day earlier at the Manila Hotel.

The actor, who has 15 grandchildren in total, shared that AJ and Abrenica are already raising two children together, a boy and a girl. He even disclosed that their eldest, whom he fondly calls “Al Junior,” bears a strong resemblance to him. “Babae (at) lalaki, dalawa na. Tawag ko (sa lalaking apo), Al Junior,” Raval told the entertainment press, including Bandera, as he emphasized that Abrenica is the father. When I first read that I was like, Hmmm, shouldn’t it be up to Aljur and AJ to divulge or confirm that to the public when/if they wanted to? Then I thought about it because there are two sides to this coin. And by the way, I will always say that the main people involved should be the one realeasing information about anything about their lives which include engagement, wedding, marriage, pregnancy/children, divorce, annulment, whathaveyous.

One side is Jeric Raval as the father of AJ and grandfather to these children. Maybe he’s tired of keeping their existence as a secret. He wants to celebrate his grandchildren. Perhaps, he’s also secretly waiting and hoping for Aljur to say something. Be a man, maybe??

The other side, Aljur and AJ: Perhaps they don’t want to subject their children from scrutiny and hatred from people online who have been so invested in their situation eversince Aljur and Kylie Padilla broke up. They too have children together. 2 sons actually. Aljur and AJ, regardless of how much people hate them or think they have a business about their lives, are protecting their children and I support that wholeheartedly.

So, which side of the coin are you? Grandfather Jeric or the parents, Aljur and AJ. A reminder please when you opine on the matter, there are 4 children involved in this situation. Be mindful and be careful.
