BACON & CHEESE BURGER ON WHEAT BUNS

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • sprinkle of Italian Seasoning
  • sprinkle of Zatarains’ Blackened seasoning (+ more)
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • cooked bacon strips
  • wheat burger buns
  • mayonnaise
  • ketchup
  • spicy brown mustard
  • cheese slices

Method
 

  1. In a non-stick pancook the bacon strips then set aside.
  2. In a big bowl, combine beef Italian seasoning, salt, blackened seasoning, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix everything together with your hands.
  3. Get a fistful size of the meat mixture and form into a patty. Do this until you have all the patties you need.
  4. Cook the patties, each side in either the grill,  griddle pan, or non-stick pan. Add the cheese slices on top at the very end to slighly melt.
