Greek Steak Kebabs

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 pounds sirloin steak sliced cut in cubes
  • 2 red bell peppers cut into chunks
  • 2 yellow peppers (green peppers are ok too) cut into chunks
  • 1 large red onion cut into chunks
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp oregano

Method
 

  1. In a bowl or measuring cup whisk together lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Place the sliced/cube beef into a ziploc bag. Pour in the marinate into the bag. Gently massage the beef and marinade together. Marinate for 2-6 hours.
  2. In another bag place the chunks of red and yellow peppers and onions. Toss it around with olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Marinate as well for 2 to 6 hours.
  3. Once the marinating process is done, thread the steak and veggies alternately with wood or metal skewers. Grill for 3-5 minutes per side.
