One-Skillet Dish: Rice & Sausages

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packs smoked/polish sausages sliced diagonally
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 sm onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped(save some of the leaves for garnish)
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 2 1/2 cups rice + more if necessary

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients. Slice the sausages diagonally. Chop the onion, garlic, and celery.
  2. Heat up oil in a skillet, add the onions, garlic, and celery to cook for 3 minutes or so. Stir in the rice to slightly brown for a couple of minutes. Stir in the water then cover. Check a couple of times to stir. Once the rice have cooked, stir in the sausages.
  3. This might need more water so just add more to continue cooking the rice. Cover the pan to finish cooking for 3 to 5 minutes more.
