Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo gets straight to the point in her latest Q & A session with Missosology where she answered questions about current social and political issues. Topics about toxic positivity, on electing the right leaders, about cosmetic surgery, and President Duterte’s latest sexist and misogynistic’s remark about how the presidency is not a job for women. Rabiya tackled all these topics with such knowledge, conviction, and confidence.
You can tell from this interview that Rabiya is very much aware and have a lot of things to say and not afraid to say them about these controversial topics. She’s got conviction which is going to help her win that Miss Universe crown(whenever it happens). There are no right or wrong answers at pageants since the questions aren’t Math problems. It’s more on knowing about current events, the political climate, having an opinion about a certain issue, and how you would confidently and articulately convey and fight for what you stand for, using the language you are most comfortable with. Not all people will agree with a contestant’s answer of course and that’s OK. With Rabiya’s advocacy and different charity organizations that she’s part of she is definitely ready to fight for the universe! 🙌🙌👏👏
