  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 pc beef steak slice in thin strips
  • 1 head broccoli florets cut up

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • drizzle of sesame oil
  • 1 cup water
  • another 1/2 cup of water stirred with 1 tbsp of cornstarch

Instructions

  • Heat up oil in a pan or a wok. Saute garlic and onions. Add the strips of beef to cook until tender.
  • Add the broccoli, green beans, black pepper and soy sauce. Drizzle sesame oil. Stir everything together. Add water. Cover and let everything cook until the veggies are tender but not soggy.
  • Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken up the sauce.

Transfer in a platter to serve.

It goes really well with rice but I’m sure you already know that :).
