Simple Dinner Idea: Baked Nachos
Simple dinner idea using flour tortillas which can be even made easier by grabbing a couple of bags of Dorito’s Nacho Chips. Either way this will be a huge hit with your family for a Weekend get together, easy to make dinner during the week, or parties.
I mentioned flour tortillas. My daughter calls it homemade nachos which she loves. She loves Dorito’s Nachos for its cheesiness but one day I fried up flour tortillas and served them with con queso dip and the combo has turned into a favorite snack. I decided to take it up a notch and made Baked Nachos one day.
Ingredients
Method
- Cut the flour tortillas into small triangles. (OPTIONAL: Use a couple of bags of Dorito's Nachos and skip this and the frying steps)

- Heat up oil. Fry up the flour tortialls until golden brown

- Coat the fried flour tortillas with French Fries seasoning(or salt). Set aside.

- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Discard the grease. Season with Taco seasonings. PS: I ran out so I used Fajitas seasoning(ultimately the same 😊)

- Preheat the oven to 350°. Lay the fried flour tortilla chips into a sheet pan.

- Spread the ground beef mixture on top.

- Put the refried beans in a bowl. Warm up for 2 minutes or so to give it a spreadable consistency. Spread evenly on top of the ground beef mixture.

- Stir the Con Queso dip before spreading evenly on top of the refreid beans.

- Top the whole thing with shredded cheddar cheese.

- Bake it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

- Top with chopped tomates. lettuce, and scallions (green onions). VOILA!

SUCH A HIT, I tell You!
Top with a dollop of sour cream.
Then with avocado slices OR Guacamole, if you have extra 2 minutes to make it.
