Mommy Grace's Pan-Seared Mayo Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 pcs pork chops
  • 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • oil for pan-searing

Method
 

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Season the chops evenly with salt & pepper.
  3. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and S&P. (Sprinkle of paprika too if available.)
  4. Save some of the mayo marinade to top the cooked chops later. Pour the rest of the marinade into the pork chops. Coat them evenly.
  5. Cover the bowl and let that chill and marinate in the fridge for an hour or longer.
  6. Heat up oil in a pan. Sear each side of the chops until brown.
  7. I might have oversear a little bit(hehe) but they were still good and tender.
