Mommy Grace’s Pan-Seared Mayo Pork Chops
FYI, this is actually the second time I made Mommy Grace Tanfelix’s Pan-Seared Mayo Pork Chops. I loved them the first time so I decided to make them again. Except I ran out of paprika but the chops were still delish. It’s an easy pork chops recipe and you pretty much have all the ingredients in the fridge and your spice pantry. Well, aside from the Paprika in my case, HAH!
Definitely Okay na Okay! ๐๐
Mommy Grace's Pan-Seared Mayo Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 5-6 pcs pork chops
- 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
- salt & pepper
- garlic powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- oil for pan-searing
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Season the chops evenly with salt & pepper.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and S&P. (Sprinkle of paprika too if available.)
- Save some of the mayo marinade to top the cooked chops later. Pour the rest of the marinade into the pork chops. Coat them evenly.
- Cover the bowl and let that chill and marinate in the fridge for an hour or longer.
- Heat up oil in a pan. Sear each side of the chops until brown.
- I might have oversear a little bit(hehe) but they were still good and tender.
Serve with rice and steamed veggies. I didn’t have time to take a photo of my plate before dinner because we were hungry. You can save some of the mayo marinade to serve as an extra dip if you want, the way Mommy Grace did.
Since I love pork, this recipe will surely be making a repeat in our weekly dinner menu. I hope you try it too.
