- Boil water to cook the rotini pasta. Reserve 2 cups of the pasta water. Brown ground beef. Discard most of the grease. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Add the pasta sauce and reserved pasta water into the pan. Stir then add the cottage cheese. Stir everything together to incorporate the cottage cheese with the sauce.

- Gradually pour the sauce in with the rotini pasta. Stir gently.
