Marian Rivera Shares Updates On Her Upcoming Cinemalaya 2024 Film #BALOTA
Marian Rivera happily shares some new updates about her upcoming Cinemalaya film #BALOTA which is directed by Kip Oebanda. Marian shared she was deglamorized as can be which means no make-up and she has no double in playing her character doing difficult scenes so she ended up with plenty of bruises. Nevertheless, Marian is super excited about the new movie and the experience made her want to do more movies for Cinemalaya. BALOTA is produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group and will be shown during the Cinemelaya Film Festival this August 20124.
“Sobrang excited ako kasi dito ko nagawa ang lahat ng first time ko–no makeup, ayaw ni Direk na naka-makeup. Dito yung mga linyahan na di ko nagagawa sa mga soap opera at saka sa pelikula. Pangatlo, ito yung rurok ko yata na yung fight scene ay hindi ako nagpa-double kaya ang dami-dami kong sugat. Okay lang, sabi ko nga, gagaling at gagaling din ‘yan. Ang importante ay nabigay ko yung 100 percent ko sa pelikula,” kuwento ni Marian.
“Nakakakilig. Parang sabi ko nga, hindi ako nadadala na gumawa ulit sa kanila sa na-experience ko kung paano ko ginawa yung balota. Dahil doon, gusto ko ulit gumawa ng Cinemalaya,” aniya.(SOURCE)
