Chicken With Prego Creamy Lemon Parmesan Sauce, 2 Ways

I was so happy to come home from our recent Adirondacks vacation in part because I saw a box from BzzAgent waiting for me. I couldn’t wait to try the new PREGO Creamy Lemon Parmesan Sauce with chicken for dinner. Yes, I received a free bottle of the PREGO sauce but all opinions are mine. The new line of sauces makes it easier and faster to come up with dinner ideas and they’re quite delicious too. With the sauces, you can serve up the chicken as is with side dishes or mix it into pastas as well. I came up with 2 ways with my jar of creamy lemon parmesan sauce.

First one, just the boneless chicken breast swimming happily in the sauce with a side of garlic bread and steamed asparagus. The second one was leftover chicken with Angel hair pasta which I served for launch the next day. 20 minutes is what the instructions suggests but if you’re making more chicken obviously it’d take a little bit longer. I always tend to make extra because leftovers for lunch the following day is my game.

This recipe is so easy to follow through so enjoy.

Chicken With Prego Creamy Lemon Parmesan Sauce, 2 Ways

Ingredients

  • 8 pcs boneless chicken breast (4 thick ones that I sliced in half)
  • 1 jar Prego creamy lemon parmesan sauces
  • sprinkle of salt & pepper
  • butter or olive oil for pan frying

Instructions

  • Season the chicken slices with salt and pepper. Melt butter(or heat up olive oil) in a pan. Pan-fry the chicken pieces until brown on each side.
  • Pour the Prego creamy lemon parmesan sauce into the pan. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes or so.

I just served the chicken from the pan.

There you go, chicken with Prego Creamy Lemon Parmesan Sauce with a side of garlic bread(toasted in the over for a few minutes) and steamed asparagus. The side dishes can be cooked while browning the chicken so there shouldn’t be any extra minutes for them. DELICIOUS!

The next day I boiled up Angel hair pasta and nuked the remaining chicken and sauce in the microwave. I sliced up the chicken pieces set that aside while I stir the cooked pasta into the sauce. I placed some in a plate then topped with the sliced chicken and VOILA!

Along with the free jar of pasta sauce I also received coupons for the other variants of Prego’s new sauces which are Creamy Marsala and Tomate & Fresh Ricotta. I’m looking forward to using them up as well. I’ll let you know about the recipes I’d come up with for sure. Thank you Prego and BzzAgent. You can get your own jars of Prego sauces at Publix.
