Consider Filipino music legend and icon Jim Paredes a huge fan of GMA Network’s “Maria Clara At Ibarra” which he is currently hooked on via streaming on Netflix PH. Paredes praised the production value and calling the story of a Gen-Z “trying to change how things end is intriguing, comical, suspenseful, educational, and even fun. ”
He said Dennis Trillo‘s portrayal of Ibarra is intense and considers Barbie Forteza‘s performance as Klay, “delightful, charming and has a range of emotions and expressions that not only sustains but heightens the audience’ interest in the plot.”
