“Beauty queens have a lifespan of three years.” That was one of the first few things #PiaWurtzbach heard when she was crowned as Miss Universe in 2015. And yet, Pia’s best-before date is nowhere in sight. “I don’t want to be seen as just a beauty queen. That’s the thing. I want to be a few things and a beauty queen, not that first before other titles.”
Pia is on a roll! After just recently publishing her first book, she’s now attending fashion shows in Paris and Milan, her first time outside of New York during (and after!) her Miss Universe reign.
