Dunkin’ Date With The Hubby
EmmaBoo had to do some Psychological Vocational testing last Tuesday which took 2 1/2 hours so while she was doing that Hubby and I took advantage of our “free” waiting time to have a Dunkin’ Donuts date(and some shopping at $Tree for stuff we can live without, really π ). We haven’t had a donut date in a while. Also, we usually go to Krispy Kreme so I wasn’t familiar with what Dunkin’ has nowadays.
We started with the Lava Cake Iced Coffee. DELISH! Sweet but I personally thought it was quite balanced.
Hubby had Sausage and Bacon breakfast burritos. They were alright, I guess. They look basic βΊοΈ but filled up the tummy for sure. He already had breakfast at home though so this was his second breakfast. π
Avocado Toast with Bacon. 3/5. The avocado was more of a guacamole spread consistency with Everything Bagel seasoning. It has an overpowering lemon flavor. I prefer my avocado either roughly mashed with a bit of texture or thinly sliced. Also, if Dunkin’ was going to serve it with Bacon, I wish they’d chopped ’em roughly since the bacon were not crispy so it was kinda hard to bite into it without making a mess of myself. Look, I’ve made better Avocado Toasts, that’s all I’m saying. You should check out my Ricotta Toasts too. ππ
Coffee Cake Muffin. Now this is 5/5. I love the streusel crumb topping. The muffin itself was moist and full of coffe cake flavor. I could’ve eaten another one, HAH! Hubby had a Double Chocolate Donut and I guess he enjoyed it too.
Overall, it was nice spending time with the Hubby and we enjoyed every mosel from Dunkin’ Donuts.
