SEAFOOD MIX & GREEN BEANS STIR-FRY
This Seafood Mix & Green Beans Stir-Fry was a quick dinner I whipped up last Saturday. I love seafood mix bags because it gives you all that seafood goodness and conveniently so. The mix consists of calamari(squid), shrimp, mussels, octopus, and chunks of imitation crabmeat. Stir-fry ‘em or add into a creamy pasta dish, either way it will be quick and delicious.
Seafood Mix & Green Beans Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen seafood mix
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- a handful of fresh green beans
- 1 sm onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic chopped finely
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- sprinkle of black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Heat up oil in a wok/pan. Saute onions and garlic. Add the frozen seafood mix. Cover the wok to cook thaw and cook the mix at the same time.
- Add the green beans then stir in the soy sauce and black pepper. Continue cooking until green beans have softened a bit. Maintain the crunchiness of the green beans. Turn the heat off then stir in the cornstarch mix to thicken the sauce.
We had leftover rotisserie chicken from the day before so I served it alongside the stir-fry and rice.
That thickened sauce with the seafood mix worked perfectly. It sure went nice with the rice.
