Angel Locsin Responds To DepEd’s Statement Regarding A Teacher’s Module
Angel Locsin, along with Coco Martin and Mang Inasal were the subject of ridicule in a Physical Education module from a teacher in Occidental Mindoro. The module, which is filled with grammatical errors called Angel Locsin “obese” because just like Coco Martin, she eats fatty and sweet food from Mang Inasal fast food restaurant. The module also stated that when Angel is in her house she’s always watching TV and does not have any physical activities.
In a statement of her own posted on Instagram, Angel Locsin called out Department of Education for how they seem to be unaffected that the teacher was “teaching bad conduct and sowing discrimination among the children.” Angel asked how the kids future would be if they are being taught how to be disrespectful towards other people. She wants the Department of Education to be held accountable and for the Teacher to apologize to his students that read the module. Read full statement below.
