Dutch Oven Crusty Bread
I’ve been thinking about making Dutch Oven Crusty Bread since I received my Dutch Oven as a Christmas gift from Hubby last year. I finally didi it and Oh My, dunno why I waited so long. I didn’t document the process because this serves as my learning curve. I’ll give you a series of photos though. π«Άππ§
What I need to remember next time I make Dutch Oven Crusty Bread is to adjust the oven temperature. All the recipes I’ve read online said to preheat the oven to 450Β° with the Dutch Oven + lid for 30minutes. Then bake the bread covered for 30minutes then without the lid for 15 more minutes. 450Β° gave my bread a slightly hard bottom. If I set it to 400 it would have been perfect. My oven’s callibration is messed up. It gets hot too much so I’m always having to adjust I don’t why I didn’t with this bread. DUHHH!
Well, lesson learned.
@dexiejanerw76 Dutch Oven Bread. π€―π Itβs good with butter &/or jam. Definitely making French Toasts for breakfast tomorrow! πβ€οΈ (Leaning curve: I need to adjust the oven temperature from 450 to 400 coz my ovenβs callibration is messed up. And in any event, this is a good looking bread and Oh My Gosh, so good. I can’t get over it.
I’m going to enjoy with either strawberry jam or butter. As a side for pasta. And definitely French Toasts for tomorrow’s brunch.
