Friday’s Fitness/Health, Self-Care, And Accountability Post
I wrote something about #Pilates the other day and it made me think of my own journey with it. What you see in the photos below is of me at my fittest and leanest form, 2022-2023. That’s thanks to a consistent routine of dance fitness/cardio and Pilates, 5 times a week + mid-afternoon walk with Chase, from 2020-2023. With Intermittent Fasting of either 18:6 or 20:4. Scott and I also did the “salad for lunch” habit around this time.

I kinda slacked on 2024. I cut back on Pilates by doing it 3x/week and went back to 16:8 IF. My point? I need to get back to consistency and steady routine again. And honestly, I gotta cut back on sugar. When that ‘noon sweet craving kicks in, 🥹😭😢.
NOTE: I said cut back, not give up. There’s a HUGE difference. 😂🙅♀️
I need to get in a healthy mental state because frankly, whether we like to admit it or not, the media likes to inundate us with all the crap and narratives that make us all angry, frustrated, irritated at one another, stressed out, and practically depressed. (Everything I know about Blake Lively VS Justin Baldoni is against my will. It Needs To End! 😉😅)
Anyhooooo, so yes, I just need January to be over ‘coz she’s surely taking her sweet cute hiney a long time. Let’s hit that February RESET. 💃🧘♀️ I hope this inspires you too to kickstart your journey. 😘 #LFG #GOALto50
